The final Sonny Report.
Mum, Dad and Sonny leaving Great Ormond Street Hospital this afternoon after fifteen weeks! They are all back home now and beginning to rebuild their family life. There's nothing more to say except to express sincere thanks for all the wonderful support from fellow-bloggers!

From the glorious, award-winning Sir Tom Eagerly: It just happens I have a case of champagne just waiting for an excuse to be opened. I'll start working on it at once! Cheers to you and yours Bazza.
But I do hope this isn't the final Sonny Report. I look forward to reports on his birthdays, Christmases, academic and artistic achievements, and major life milestones for years to come.
Hi bazza, Fantastic news for you and your family and ofcourse Sonny. I send you all the love in the world and wish for a happy and positive future. J Follow me at HEDGELAND TALES
Sir Tom: Only a case of champagne? How will you get by on that? Cheers Sir Tom!
Alicia: Yes, you are right of course but we have only now dared to think about the rest of his life. There was what seemed like ages, when we did not know if Sonny would have a future!
joanne: Yes, you are quite right. A generation ago his chances would have been a lot worse and even in the last ten things have kept on improving. Now, the doctors are saying, he should be able to lead a perfectly normal life. Well done indeed!
Dear bazza, So glad that Sonny is finally back where he belongs. I hope this is just the first of many wonderful days. Yours with Very Best Wishes, David.
Dad, thanks for your support for us all through this. You're the best Dad and a really fantabulous Grandad to all of our kids. Love you loads, Ruthie (Sonny's Auntie) xxx
David, The Snee, Gary (Klahanie): Thanks to all three of you for being so suppoprtive. Sonny is a real hero and has never complained or asked "Why me?".
This is great news. I'm very happy that the brave little man finally got to come home. I bet you guys feel like celebrating. Sonny is a hero for going through all that and never asking, "Why me?" or feeling sorry for himself. Even us grown-ups have a hard time doing that at times.
Take care of you and yours, Bazza. Sorry I was late in congratulations.
Hi Kelly. Sonny is a hero alright. We are beginning to celebrate but are slowing unwinding and getting back to normal. Please don't apologise for your timekeeping! It's good that you're here.
