A Bit of Fun (2)
For the umpteenth time I have been listening to a fabulous recording by The Everly Brothers and The Beach Boys together singing Don't Worry Baby. Listen to it HERE
And that music! We've got a ton of Beach Boys music around here, and I've certainly heard a lot of the Everly Brothers, but that's the first time I ever heard them singing together! Cool!
Susan: The first records I bought were by The Everly Brothers and when we saw the Beach Boys in London several years ago, Bruce Johnstone was on the phone to our house as we arrived home (long, true story)!
I read these and thought of the late Rodney Dangerfield. You just needed the drum roll at the end.
I have seen The Beach Boys in concert quite a few times. We had fun, fun, fun and made great memories with friends. The Everly Brothers had beautiful harmony. I did not know that they had ever sung with The Beach Boys.
Arleen: There is a clip on You Tube of them all singing that live but it's as good as the studio recording which I can find in no other place. See my reply to Sherry, above!

Hi Bazza - lots of fun here ... I always giggle happily at these 'sillies' - so stupid ... but true so often ... cheers Hilary
Hello Bazza, Who says Vaudeville is dead?

Now we are becoming more subtle. I had to read the cloning story a couple of times :)
On the other hand. My brain might simply be ageing.
Hilary: I like stupid and silly humour. Oh dear - have I said too much?
Jim: My wife thinks I should be on the stage - sweeping up!
Hels: That cloning one is my favourite. I also like. "I'm not going in for that Human Cloning Project. I could never live with myself."
More fun stuff! Thanks.

Your walking stick joke is cute!

Sherry: That one goes over the heads of many people!
