I know! I know!
**waves hand wildly**
Pick me! Pick me!

Actually, I know only the first three without thinking twice.

1. Marley
2. Holiday Inn
3. The names traditionally assigned to the Three Wise Men
4. I'll guess the UK...

And your joke made me snort out loud!

Best wishes for a merry Christmas to you and your family, Bazza.

What Alicia said for questions 1 – 3. But question 4: Australia.

Alicia: it's always nice to hear from you. I am not commenting on any answers yet so look back in a few days! And I, in turn, wish you and the boys all the very best compliments of the season.
PS: I always read your posts even if I don't comment much.

'Blogger Formerly Known As' AKA 'The Masked One': We don't charge by the word you know! I refer you to my previous answer - it goes for you too! Thanks for looking in.

I have to go with Alicia's first 3 answers. The Blogger Formerly Known As had it right with #4.

I enjoyed your bit o' humor here, Bazza. Fun Christmas Quiz, dude. You should have more quizzes. I like all the ones you've posted in the past, here, too.

have a good one. :)

Dear bazza,
Being the honest person that I am, I will tell you that I only knew the answers to 1 and 3. I did know Christmas Island was where they did some of the atom bomb tests, but didn't know in which country it was!
Anyway, have a very merry one, bazza.
Best Wishes for now and 2012,
David.

I was getting excited because I knew the first three too! As for the fourth, I will take a wild guess at... Transylvania!

Happy Christmas to you and yours.

Kezza, the Blogger formerly known as Kelly: I've made this too easy again haven't I? I am thinking of doing a second, much harder one, now!
Have a great Christmas and New Year to you and the family.

David: You are honest indeed David. Actually all of these answers could probably be found with ease on the internet but that's no fun is it?
Stand by for a harder quiz!
....and have a great Christmas!

joanne: Transylvania! What a wonderful answer! A land-locked part of Romania without ever having had any dependencies as far as I know. The only less likely answer would have been that Christmas Island (so named when a British merchant vessel first sailed past it on Christmas Day in 1643) was a territory of Eel Pie Island in the Thames!

Ah azzab,
Because I'm so late in responding, I shall only give the answer to number one.
Scrooge's dead business partner was the brother of a well known Reggae singer.....
Your pizza is on its way....

Gary: Ho, ho and ho. Thank you for your modest contribution and thanks for the pizza!

bazza said...

DC~Relief: So; you've introduced capitals, a tilde and a hyphen. Does that signal big changes in your life?
Our local Pizza Hut doesn't deliver to the US from over here otherwise it would have been my treat.

bazza said...

John: That last question seems to be the only one that people are not too sure of!
Full answers about to be given!

bazza said...

OK, here are the definitive answers to the quiz:
(1) Yes it's Jacob Marley (No, Gary, he's not Bob Marley's brother).
(2) Holiday Inn
(3) The three wise men. As Alicia hinted at, the names 'traditionally assigned to' them. The names (and number of them) are not given in the bible.
(4) Australia
Well done everyone. Harder quiz to follow soon.
Seasons Greetings to all and to your loved-ones!

Bazza,
I've been messing with the new template... no capitals, hyphen, or titles... just me.
I went online to find "Easter Island," yep... so glad I didn't post that! Oops.

bazza said...

DC: I was referring to a tilde not a title! I meant in your blogging name. I do like you new look though.
