I love all your paintings, Bazza, but especially the one you painted for your grandson. It touched me so.
Hi Bazza!
Where can I go to see these paintings in the flesh?! ;)
Shows a great flair and artistic creativity, wish I could paint as well as you!

My goodness - I went from painting to painting - more and more tears welling up - such lovely work.
Self portraits are so hard - nice job there, and I also see you in Sonny's face!
I am so grateful that you chose (finally) to share the good stuff! There's only so much of London I can take in this month!!! Bazza, I wish I had the words - but I'm so lost in the beauty of your talent.
Then again, maybe there's something to listening to all of that music after all?! I should really have a go at it. have a great weekend.
I can't promise you that I won't be back to say more! Love this post.
Well you've been hiding your talent sir! Great stuff, I particularly like the one of the beach huts and the one you did for your grandson with the animals looking out of the window. They could be illustrations straight out of a book. Well done that man :D
SO,AC: Hi Arleen. That is my favourite painting too. It's based on a picture in a children's book.
John: Hello John. Well I hear that the artist is too modest to show his work in public!
Dixie: Hi there; you are way too kind and Sonny does have a lot of me about him. We have similar tastes in many things as well.
AC: It's funny about the beach huts - I dismissed it but so many have picked that as one of their favourites. I'm not sure why that is. Maybe it's the simplicity! And, of course you are right....that picture was in a children's book originally. I just improved it a bit.
Oh my, what a talented individual you are, Bazza!
Like Dixie said, I just went from painting to painting too, thinking wow!
And the one you painted for your grandson is my favourite too. Just lovely :)
Hi Wendy. Thanks for those kind words.
Stopped over to see if I could choose a favourite. (Please note appropriate spelling.)
It's tie for me. I like the one of you in the library with the Cezanne forgery, and the Quaint local street in Woodford. (Was it Woodford?)
Have a great week!
Those are all good! I really liked the English rural scene, the Beach House, and the one you painted for your grandson. Those all have a children's picture book quality.
Dixie: Wow! UK spellings and UK place names - top marks that lady!
Sherry: I think those are my favourites too. Good choices!
My fine human friend,
Bazza, you, good sir, have captured a gentle ambience. Profoundly poignant for your beloved Sonny.
Superb, my human friend, superb!
Pawsitive wishes,
Penny
Penny, the Jill Russell: Thank you my canine friend. Please give my regards to your human slave for a great weekend!
Love the water colors, especially of your grandson. There is a serenity about them that reflects you, I think. Please share more. And did you write a story that went with the animals looking out the window?
Hi Natasha. That picture of the animals was originally in a children's book. I just modified it a bit! So someone wrote a story with it.....
The photo of me is with Sonny's younger sister, Lois.
One more thing--did you have formal art lessons or what was your training in school. Sadly, art is not being taught in our schools, just in special classes, but not part of the curriculum. I saw Prince Phillip's watercolors in an article a few months ago, and was surprised, he was good.
Hi Natasha. I went to a school that specialised in Art which would be very rare these days. Mostly it was about commercial art, typography and illustration but I really enjoyed it.
