"Many years later, as he faced the firing squad, Colonel Aureliano Buendia was to remember that distant afternoon when his father took him to discover ice."
Gabriel Garcia Marquez: "One Hundred Years of Solitude"
Hot from the desk of the appalling, yet fabulous, Sir Tom Eagerly: Bazza old thing! How kind you are, I'm just enjoying a magnum of Hardy Le Printemps brandy. Are you familiar with it - probably out of your league I should think Mr Bazza. Bottoms up and all that. Lady Eagerly sends her love; well she would have done were she sober. Toddle pip!
Hi bazza, I'm currently enjoying a snowball and a bit of egg nog. Sir Tom Eagerly would be proud! Very Best Wishes to you and the family this Christmas, bazza! from David.
Ha ha! Thank you David. I have just had one case of mixed Belgian beers and one case of World beers delivered for Christmas. Now the trick is to keep them away from my son-in-laws! I hope you have a great time this Christmas and New Year.
Felicitations to you, Leah, one and all! And guess what I'm finally reading? One Hundred Years of Solitude. I'm around halfway through at present and really enjoying it. Enjoy yourselves folks! x Michelle
