"Many years later, as he faced the firing squad, Colonel Aureliano Buendia was to remember that distant afternoon when his father took him to discover ice."

Hi bazza, Just watched the fireworks in London and then Nile Rogers and Chic who did the post-fireworks gig. Modest celebrations for me this year then, bazza, although there was a small fireworks display at the Port Vale football ground which I could see from my window. Vale also managed to thrash Luton 4-0 on Saturday! So, auspicious beginnings indeed for 2018. Let's hope it's a good one! Very Best Wishes to you, Leah and family for 2018, David.
David: I'm just back from my regular New Years Day walk in Valentines Park, Ilford. Off to see West Ham tomorrow: I'm not expecting fireworks..... All the very best to you for 2018.
Arleen: Leah will pleased to be called 'lovely' - she is! Those friends just want to hang around with me to bask in the reflected glory. Have a wonderful 2018 X
Hey Bazza!
ReplyDeleteLeah and your esteemed self have quite the motley gathering of friends. I'm assuming that the Flintstones are also your friends.
Here's to Leah, to you, to your friends and family, having a jolly good 2018.
Penny's human dad,
Gary
Gary: Thank you Gary. The Flintstones were too busy to pose with us; maybe next year. All the best to you my good sir!
ReplyDeleteHello Bazza, You can always tell about people by the company they keep!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
